How to give an hour……

• Assemble fundraiser packets for students once orders come in

• Work the “Pick-up Night” for parents collecting fundraising items

• Make copies of Newsletter each month for distribution

• Sell Book Soxs at Back to School Nights

• Help at PTA Membership Table during Back to School Nights

• Help read/vote on Staff Essays during the Spring Staff Essay Contest

• Help plan, set-up, or work during the Staff Appreciation Lunch in the Spring

• Give an hour or so during one of the MJHS Dances

• Give an hour or so during the Family Fun Fair

• Give an hour or so during Santa’s Secret Workshop

• Help with set-up or clean-up during one of the PTA events

• Help make copies of any PTA flyers (e.g. Chuck E. Cheeze Night in Winter)

• Attend a PTA meeting and offer any ideas or suggestion on events, fundraiser opportunities, or other items

How to get more involved…..

• Join the Dance Committee at MJHS (coordinate DJ, volunteers, decide refreshments)

• Join the Santa’s Secret Workshop Committee (decide on items sold, keep an inventory, get sponsorship, coordinate volunteers)

• Join the Family Fun Fair (decide prizes, games, refreshments, coordinate volunteers)

• Join the Volunteer Committee (help find volunteers for each event)
